We are members of the Florida Solar Energy Association and Indian River County Chamber of Commerce. We have to date installed over 25 million dollars worth of solar equipment.
Erik was first introduced to solar energy in 1979 in Illinois. Upon moving to Florida in 1998, he started his own solar company, primarily installing solar hot water and pool heating systems. In 2004, he was approached by John and agreed to a partnership – and in 2019 became the President of Climatic Solar Corporation. As President, Erik oversees all of Climatic Solar’s installations and business operations. He works tirelessly with home and business owners to ensure that they achieve all the benefits of solar energy. There are very few instances where solar energy may not work effectively or be the best fit. Erik’s sense of design coupled with a proper installation guarantees that any system we install will perform to its maximum.
John started Climatic-Solar Corporation in February 1980.
John graduated from Notre Dame in 1968 with a B.S. Degree in Engineering. He went on to NYU and graduated in 1970 with a Masters Degree in Engineering. He worked for Grumman Aircraft between 1968 and 1972. He taught Physics and Chemistry from 1972 through 1979. During his tenure, he developed and taught a class on Solar Energy in Long Island, New York. John started Climatic-Solar Corporation in February 1980. John holds a Solar contractor’s license (CV56724) and a plumbing contractor’s license (CFC024542). John is only one of three individuals in of Florida to hold this prestigious national certification. He has been designing and installing solar systems for more than forty (40) years. Along the Treasure and Space Coasts there is no solar contractor with more knowledge and experience than John. From the beginning, He set a high standard o f customer service that is still passed on to each and every employee.
